(More customer reviews)purchased this item after looking at several reviews, makes hard boiled eggs like a dream, i set my microwave at eight minutes on high, and four eggs at a time are done to perfection. just one word of caution, very hot plastic for several minute after the microwaving is finished, with a significant amount of water remaining in the container that is very hot. The device also doesn't click closed, just fits on the bottom half so you must be careful moving this around, and it is quite easy to spill the hot water all over the place, wouldn't use it around a small child.
